The 2023 Dark Matter takes you ever further off the beaten path with new bikepacking features, cable integration, and updated stack and reach. What hasn’t changed is the confident, responsive ride that’s made it a gravel classic. Light and lean and ready to race, or now with up to four bottle mounts and full paniers, the Dark Matter goes from scrappy race-day ride to sidekick for your longest off-road adventures.
SEAMLESS INTEGRATION · Now featuring our new 3D system, including a spacer that offers seamless connection with the frame’s toptube in 0mm and 25mm configurations. Specced with FSA SRS (external between the handlebar and stem, routing through the headset) for maximum versatility and hassle-free maintenance, the updated 3D system is also compatible with FSA ACR (fully integrated), FSA SMR (semi-integrated), Token A-Box, Token S-Box, Ritchey Switch and Deda DCR.* LIGHT OR LOADED · Bikepacking-ready with three mounting points added on each side of the fork, additional bottle cage mounting options in the front triangle, new rear rack mounts and relocation of the toptube mounting bolts. Or, leave some of the gear at home and have one of the peppiest gravel racers on the market.
ALL-TERRAIN HANDLING · With an eye toward ride quality, the Dark Matter features seatstays designed to flex and dissipate shocks, and allows for 45c**, to offer maximum traction and comfort on all surfaces.
RIDER DESIGNED · Gravel geometry provides fork rake specific to frame size, to allow for tight turn clearance on more technical runs. With new stack and reach measures fine-tuned to each size range, a dialed-in fit is assured. Our new seatpost, as well as being 50g lighter, now offers a reversible saddle clamp with 15mm or 25mm setback for optimal fit adjustments. * Listed compatibility is for 25mm configuration, using a press-fit column and non-rotating caps. In 0mm configuration, 3D system is only compatible with FSA SRS using custom SRS cap. ** 40c with fenders.
