We now have the menu for our 2018 ACTiV Xmas Bash, as below, at £27 per person (including service).

To be sure of a place for you (and your spouse/partner if you like) get your order and payment in quickly, as numbers are limited to 50.

(You don't need to choose starters as they are on shared platters, nor desserts, as deserts are a taster of each).

There will be awards.

There will be laughs and banter.

There may be some surprises (if we can think of any)!

And of course, there will be plenty of good food and drink.

Selection of meat, seafood and vegetable platters (to share)

Orange chicken tikka, lamb boti kebab, keema kebab, fish fry, vegetable samosa, onion bhaji.


Tomato and Jaggery soup



1. Kashmiri Lamb Rogan josh (medium)                                 

Tender Lamb cooked on a slow fire using the dum style of cooking and

rich spices like cardamom, Kashmiri chilli, mint & saffron.

2. Ghar ka murg

Traditional home style Chicken curry cooked with Indian onions,

tomato, ginger garlic, and whole spices.

3. Narangi Turkey Makhani (D)

Tender pieces of tandoori turkey breast cooked with orange zest,

Tomato, cashew, butter and cream.

4. Sarson macchi

A dish from Kolkata, Shallow fry Fish cooked with tomato,

onion, garlic, green chilli, mustard paste, fresh coriander.

5. Lauki ki Kofta (D, N)

Gourd dumplings cooked in rich & cream

cashew and tomato gravy. Flavours of cardamom, dried fenugreek.

 Main course comes with Basmati rice, naan basket, and chatpata potato



A taster each of:

Christmas pudding with baileys cream,

Malpoa (Indian style pancake)

and Kulfi ice-cream.
