We are planning a new destination for our 5-7 October 2018 MTB trip.

Our resident man in Cheltenham, with the help of other riding buddies, is planning some great Cotswoldish routes for us and probably checking out the trails at this very moment.

We will be staying at the Best Western Plus Cheltenham Regency Hotel, where we have negotiated a rate of £120 per twin room per night, including dinner, bed and breakfast. That is £60 each per night sharing a room, whether you arrive in time to stay Friday night and have a leisurely start on Saturday, or if you prefer to save £60 you could get up at sparrow's fart and travel up on Saturday morning for the riding.

PROPOSED ITINERARY

Friday 5th October

Anyone wishing to make the most of the break and stay Friday night should arrive at the Hotel early evening for a drink in the bar and hot buffet supper.

Saturday 6th October

Those who stayed Friday will have a full buffet breakfast. Others who drive up on Saturday morning will meet the group pre riding, details TBA.

Rides and lunch details still being finalised - to be advised to confirmed guests nearer the time.

On return to the hotel Saturday late afternoon/early evening we'll get showered, have a drink in the bar and have a hot buffet supper with dessert.

Sunday 7th October

On Sunday morning we'll have our full buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel and explore some more exciting trails on our bikes, before departing for home.

Book and pay quickly to be sure of a place!

This trip will be on a first come first served basis. There is a wine and chocolate festival in Cheltenham the same weekend and much accommodation is already booked, so please get your payment to us immediately and tell us whether you want to stay Friday and Saturday, or just Saturday:

Rides on away trips may be 3 or 4 hours or more, so be prepared and be fit!
Make sure you have all the kit, phone, lights, tubes and spares you may need - but most of all a helmet and a smile :-)

Rides are put together by local cyclists who enjoy riding with friends, but if you choose to come along, you do so entirely at your own risk. ACTiV only acts as a notice board for these rides and neither ACTiV nor any of the riders can accept liability for any injury or damage, however caused
